Happy New Year…40 and loving it?

February 3, 2010 Area of Interest: teeth whitening

What can I say, I was soooo mortified when I looked back and realised that I have written NOTHING for over 2 months! The worst is it doesn’t feel that long, more like 2 weeks.  Is this a sign of turning 40? (I celebrated what everyone tells me is the beginning of life in december)

It doesn’t matter that I’m told I don’t look it (thank you teeth whitening…knocks off years, so now I can pretend to be 30) but it is that I do not remember when it happened.  I do not FEEL like I have lived 40years on this earth, I feel a total sense of panic that there is so much more left to do.  Learn to play the piano, become a ballet dancer, speak french fluently, go meet father xmas in lapland….create beautiful smiles.  Yup that one I can tick off my list hee!hee!

Write and let me know what you love about being 40 :)

I will be 42 this year and like you alot of people told me I do not look it. I don’t feel 42 either. What I love after turning 40s is that I say what I want to say without being too concerned (but of course not to the extend of offending people) of what people think. This was not the case when I was younger.

BUT!!!! The only thing I HATE most about turning 40s is that all the fine lines starting to appear on my face and before I have good skin complexion, now I’m trying my best with all sorts of skincare to maintain what I had before. My skin gets so dehydrated.

you look 30 - what fantastic skin, I wish I had looked like you when I turned 40. Now coming up to 43 and the best thing about turning 40 is that once you are 40 life does indeed begin again.
I find myself flirting like crazy with your good looking men. Especially now that I have my UCHE smile!
I am more confident and it’s as if so what I am 40 now. No need to be concerned about what I say or do as I have seen it all before.

Enjoy and keep on looking as great as you do :-)

May I start by saying: it’s not the years in your life that count, it’s the life in your years. I believe you can only perceive real beauty in a person as they mature, and for you this is living proof.
    Lastly, keep that winning smile!

It doesn’t matter about the number, it’s the way you feel…
As we can all say have you lived? It seems like you have…your a very good dentist and you life must be full of joy.
Now your 40, try to live it more dangerously…no point in waiting good years!
